I am a big fan of him also, and happy to have him back in the squad, brings a lot of energy and talent on the field. But surely Klopp will shuffle because the offensive pressure was not working the past games from the beginning and got outplayed for long periods, and got lucky. I think he was not fully satisfied. My guess he will get back to MacAllister, Jones, Szoboszlai on the long term because that’s the most reliable formation for both defensive and offensively, at least until Szalah and Endo is back. Then he might shuffle by fitness and form. My bet would be Eliott on Szalahs place, but now Jota healthy there is a lot of options how to shuffle the forwards, and Szobo can play up there also. I think Liverpool has a lot of class, regardless who is in the best form, it’s just it takes some time and a good coach to make this work. Can’t wait to have the Robertson and Trent back to have the original LB/RB, with such great reserves as Tsimikas and Bradley. Just amazed how good team Liverpool actually is.

He’s going through his growth spurt right now. The previous pre- April Curtis was not good enough, but since then he has become more effective in both defensive and offensive actions. The U21 tournament really matured hi and he has taken that confidence into this season. He is not quite THAT good yet, but if his rapid growth doesn’t flatline, we have a multi- faceted midfielder with link play, counterpressing, goals and assists in his locker. For the English team, he competes with Gallagher and Morrison, but he is a more secure defensive player than them, but if he continues to be a goal threat, then it gets very interesting. A genuine alround midfielder ( ie not Foden or Palmer) with 12-15 goals a season if he continues to evolve consistently

Yes they will need a bag man ,I must be missing something here,klopp raving about him people like you too ,the first half last night he lost the ball twice in dangerous area’s, not one telling pass FOREWOOD ,in second half never touched the ball in the first 19 minutes!!!! And God knows where the ball would have gone it it hadn’t hit the defender on the back for the goal,sorry does nothing for me or anybody I talk to!
