It wasn’t the best 45 minutes for a young Liverpool side in the Europa League but there were some noteworthy moments to recall, including one from Ben Doak.
Luke Chambers played a hopeful ball over the top to the former Celtic youngster, who showed off his impressive pace and strength in the race he had no right to win.

The Scot managed to get in front of his man and in what seemed like an effort to fire the ball out for a throw-in, it instead rebounded off the corner flag and stayed on the pitch.
It’s probably something the 18-year-old couldn’t do again with such force, if he tried 100 times.
