Liverpool are not only in the market for a new manager this season but several other key roles within the club, such as a sporting director and one may now be on the market.

This news was confirmed by Bournemouth, whilst also reporting that their former captain Simon Francis will take over the role this summer.

With regards to Richard Hughes, it means that the former midfielder is now on the market for a new move – after spending 10 years as part of the club’s recruitment setup.
For the 44-year-old to leave the Cherries after a 16-year relationship as a player and employee, you would assume that it would only be for a big move elsewhere.
With Jorg Schmadtke leaving Merseyside and the search for his replacement well underway, it wouldn’t take too much to think that the Scot could be on our radar.
