Liverpool fans are not used to seeing our team lose but doing so against Arsenal may well also impact our title chances, something Roy Keane commented on.
Speaking on Sky Sports, the 52-year-old said: “I know that Liverpool had an off day and still think Arsenal are nice on the eye but I still couldn’t see these two teams finishing ahead of Man City.”

It’s a damning assessment that, by opening the door to Pep Guardiola’s team and with them sitting five points behind with two games in hand – it could set the start of the end of our title dreams.
There’s still such a long way to go but it’s looking increasingly likely that we need to be near perfect until the end of the campaign, including in our match against the champions – if we want to win it all.

I fully agree with Keane….I made the call mid season on seeing that FSG is not reinforcing LFC will X factor players….we needed 4 then, but now it is 6 minimum!! But FSG doesn’t listen nor care, something about being his masters voice as owners!!! Man City will AGAIN win the EPL title at a canter simply bcoz THEY INVESTED IN TOP QUALITY PLAYERS, THEY HAVE DEPTH IN QUALITY which LFC doesn’t, it is that simple!!! This simple rule applies to business also….hence I once asked how the hell did the owners of FSG make their billions if they do not know this simple rule?? Invest in a quality team to make top dollar returns!
you can never say never. when we won the the title few years back it wasn’t about depth and when we also won the champions league it was about depth. less I forget, Leicester City didn’t win the league back then with squad depth but the hunger. Roy is only being sentiment and if we are determined to win it we will. that’s all I can say. YNWA
