Richard Keys shared the warning in question on X (formerly Twitter) after the Reds appeared to have missed out on a legitimate penalty claim.
Jeremy Doku did strike the ball first, though his boot was raised in a dangerously high position and struck Alexis Mac Allister on the chest.
Until someone in VAR finds the courage to tell Oliver that he’s made a mistake what we saw happen at Anfield yesterday – & most weeks elsewhere – will keep happening. I’ve said it all this season & last. He thinks he’s above reproach. VAR is a waste of time when he’s on the pitch

Should Liverpool have a penalty?
If you’re asking us here at Empire of the Kop, the result of Doku’s apparent infraction should have been a penalty kick for Liverpool.
Oliver, however, felt that the player had got the ball first (which was correct) and that was that. VAR was simply not prepared to advise a second look at the incident on the monitor.
We can take little solace in the fact that Dermot Gallagher has since asserted he would have awarded a penalty in the Englishman’s place.
At the very least, it has far from killed our chances of securing a second league title under Jurgen Klopp.
There’s plenty left of time left this season for us to get back in the lead and put in one almighty push for league glory.
So in other words, so long as you get the ball first, does mot matter if you break someone’s leg or kick their teeth out, just get the ball first
Why was Jones sent off then. This bunch of oxygen thieves make up the rules as they go along. Their decisions will have consequences long after they have shuffled off their last mortal coil. This is destroying the beautiful game.

Klopp summed it up in the easiest way, which shows the ref’s decision as a bit one-sided to me. If that challenge happened outside the box it would have been given as a foul. How many points have gone against teams this year where it turns out everyone is right apart from the ref? Stinks to the heavens
Oliver aready had his monies on a draw. He could not risk giving a penalty and then loose his bet
Doku never got to that ball first. Stop frame replays show it drops onto Mac Allister’s chest on its way to Doku’s boot. If VAR did its job rather than hurry to have the game restarted, get the ref to the screen and let the ref make that call off video evidence. I am sure a penalty would have been given.
This is not good for Liverpool, especially this season. The refs have been bad against Liverpool, this is what we call daylight robbery
Surely he has to be stopped from ref big games They need to put in a system where Refs that make bad decisions have to answer to someone send them down to the Championship for a Season and stop these trips where they are supposed to be coaching how to Ref in Dubai and yet they made so many errors although the saying is what u can’t do u teach
