Melissa Reddy has revealed on X that Ryan Gravenberch’s representation has been tweaked slightly, with Rafaela Pimenta no longer part of the Raiola organisation, nor conducting business on the player’s behalf.
This follows a major change in Bayern Munich’s position regarding the player, with the Bavarian outfit now open to parting ways with the Dutch international.

Neil, if Gravenberch costs £30 million we won’t haven’t revamped our entire midfield for £140 million because we won’t have revamped it at all. Gravenberch has quality but he is exactly the sort of player we already have too many of. The midfield is top heavy with a lot of technically good attacking players but few if any who have much in the way of natural defensive ability/awareness. This now longstanding issue (Fabinho was dreadful for quite a while before he left) has not been addressed because FSG deemed all of the available options too expensive despite the entire net spend of our so called “rebuild” being less than £60 million not including the over £50 million we now save on salaries from outgoings this summer. Yet again our transfer policy is being dictated not by our actual needs on the pitch but by FSG’s pathological desire to avoid spending money even when the need for a proper number 6 is really obvious and longstanding

I agree, it is always money and we are becoming renowned for it. I knew we would not pay 70 million for Dourcoure although that was my preference. However you cannot totally blame FSG because Klopp wants Gravenberch. Once he gets a bee in his bonnet he won,t let go. Look at Naby Keith, he was determined to get him and the rest is history. He must have been drunk when he wanted Caicedo and Lavia because Klopp is too frugal, in my opinion, to spend that amount of money. Anyway our transfer window has been a shambles and Klopp has definitely gone down in my estimation,
This is going to bite us in the ass by the end season unless we bring in someone in January like Andre. Saved 50 million on wages brought in 55 million for Hendo and Fabinho and we have spent 140 million with Ryan coming in that’s a NET spend of 35 million that’s done 10 million from there yearly NET spend since FSG have bought the Club 45 NET ever year average and we are screaming out for LCB and a RB as well we need Trent is the weak link in the back four and ever Club know that just look at Newcastle at the weekend………………….
