At the moment neither has actually left.

However, I don’t think we need a new full back or centre back unless one of Gomez or Matip leaves. We currently have four senior centre backs and Conor Bradley looks like a very promising cover full back.

We also need to be very careful that we do not block the pathway of our youngsters coming through. Several look like serious prospects. The likes of Doak, Frauendorf, Clark, Koumas, etc need to be given genuine prospects of making it. It’s one of the key attractions of joining the club as opposed the likes of City or Chelsea who simply stockpile players.
